In December of 2012 the hoe in Lancaster was completed and the partner family moved in.

The footings and foundation have been poured and all forms are off. The center support beam is in place. The sill plates have been cut and drilled. We will put in the floor joists and floor sheathing and get to the framing as soon as is possible.
The 2012 Partner Family has been chosen.

HFHAR has purchased a property on Mechanic Street in Lancaster and is gearing up to build in 2012.

Construction continues at the build site on Thorn Hill road in Bethlehem with the partner family.
This past week we had 12 volunteers on Thursday and 11 volunteers on Saturday. We are making good progress. So far we are about 3 weeks ahead of last year’s building schedule.
This week, with the emphasis on truss installation, we could again use about 10-12 volunteers for each work day. Starr Construction will have people helping us with the trusses. We hope to keep things moving towards a mid-November finish.
